Application

HiTEC® 355 long drain axle additive is used to formulate fluids meeting the needs of heavy-duty axles. HiTEC® 355 technology was field tested in Dana and Meritor front and rear axles under severe service conditions. One hundred trucks were run in this field evaluation for up to 500,000 miles each.

Oils formulated with HiTEC® 355 in appropriate base oil/VI combinations meet the following specifications and approvals:

  • Meritor O-76Q
  • Mack GO-J
  • SAE J 2360 (MIL-PRF-2105E)
  • API Gl-5 and MT-1
  • DANA SHAES 256 Rev. E
