Disclosure on California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010


NewMarket Corporation (“NewMarket”) together with its subsidiaries, Afton Chemical Corporation and Ethyl Corporation, is firmly opposed to any form of forced labor, human trafficking and slavery.  NewMarket does not condone any such unlawful conduct by its employees, suppliers, service providers and other business partners.  NewMarket has adopted a Policy against Slavery and Human Trafficking.

NewMarket requires that all suppliers and service providers comply with all applicable laws, including those local laws relating to labor practices and forced labor.  In the event that a credible report is received, NewMarket will conduct an investigation and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with local law.

NewMarket will conduct compliance training, including training on the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, for its employees who have responsibility for supply chain management.
