Application

HiTEC® 672 is a styrene/maleic ester pour point depressant. It has excellent performance in Passenger Car and Heavy Duty Engine Oil applications when combined with Viscosity Index Improvers in a range of base oils, including Brightstock.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended treat rate for HiTEC® 672 for Engine Oils applications varies from 0.10% - 0.20% wt. and 0.5% - 2.0% wt. for Gear Oils. The exact dosage is determined by the base oils present. Please contact your Afton Chemical representative for specific recommendations.
