Application

HiTEC® 18130N winter diesel fuel additive is a concentrated, heavy- duty, diesel fuel additive for winter use, designed for adequate fluidity when stored above -30°F. It is formulated with a proprietary blend of components that delivers superior CFPP performance, improved low temperature handling and excellent wax anti-settling performance.  It does not contain deicer. HiTEC® 18130N is specially formulated to provide exceptional winter performance in #2 diesel.

HiTEC® 18130N is safe for use in heavy duty, diesel powered equipment for on-road, off-road and marine use. It should be added to the storage tank prior to each delivery to ensure a homogeneous additive/fuel mixture. As with any fuel additive, exercise care by handling HiTEC® 18130N in well ventilated areas while wearing proper eye and skin protection. Refer to MSDS for more specific information.

Recommended  Dosage

HiTEC® 18130N is recommended for use at 1 gallon per 3,000 gallons of #2 diesel. This product has been specially formulated for use in today's modern diesel fuels and typical biodiesel blends. Please contact your Afton Chemical representative for specific recommendations.
