6479 gasoline performance additive utilises Afton’s latest generation, patented, Mannich detergent technology combined with our most powerful friction modifier to provide an enhanced performance.
HiTEC® 6479 delivers significant fuel economy and power output benefits by a combination of deposit control and friction reduction in the upper cylinder of the engine. HiTEC® 6479 is formulated to meet the challenges of modern Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) technology, whilst continuing to deliver excellent performance in the traditional Port Fuel Injection (PFI) engine platform. Inlet valves and injectors are kept clean and free from deposits.

Recommended Dosage
HiTEC® 6479 can be diluted in a suitable solvent and then packaged in bottles in a size which allows addition directly into vehicle tanks. In most cases the addition of the additive in this application will be to gasoline fuel already containing performance additives used by retail oil companies. It is, therefore, important to ensure an additive such as HiTEC® 6479 will be compatible with current commercial performance additives.
