Application

HiTEC® 6473 gasoline performance additive uses Afton’s latest generation, patented, Mannich detergent technology combined with our most potent friction modifier to deliver significant fuel economy and power output benefits.

HiTEC® 6473 is formulated to meet the challenges of modern Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) technology, whilst continuing to deliver excellent performance in traditional Port Fuel Injection (PFI) engines.

Recommended Dosage

Based on our extensive “real-world” performance testing, we recommend a treat-rate of HiTEC® 6473 of 560 ppmv. At this treat-rate HiTEC® 6473 will deliver complete deposit control and at the same time give a significant reduction in upper cylinder friction resulting in significant fuel economy. Used at lower treat-rates Optimal Keep Clean performance is delivered.

HiTEC® 6473 performance additive is designed to allow fuel retailers to offer their customers a choice of products. By using a scalable treat-rate a single supply chain is achieved. This ultimately reduces total costs and increases value to the customer by offering an enhanced main grade fuel and a high performance product.
