Application

HiTEC® 552H is a very robust grease additive package that provides excellent corrosion protection and antioxidancy performance combined with extreme pressure and antiwear protection. HiTEC® 552H is carefully formulated to resist degradation of critical grease properties such as dropping point and stability in the presence of water. This system can be used by itself to produce a high temperature, multipurpose grease that at the proper treat rate (~4 wt%) can meet NLGI’s GC-LB performance specification. It can also be used as a “building block” with additional top treats being used to give extra performance in specialty grease applications.
