Application

HiTEC® 1272 is a detergent/inhibitor designed for use in formulating cost-effective lubricants meeting the performance requirements of API CF/CD and MACK T-8A.

Recommended Dosage

HiTEC® 1272 detergent/inhibitor is generally used at 5.0% wt. for 10 TBN monograde oils and based on technical judgement, at 5.5% wt. for multigrade oils when using non-dispersant VI improvers. Please contact your Afton Chemical representative for specific recommendations.

Max Handling Temp: 70°C
Shelf Life: 3 months @ 50°C
36 months @ ambient (10-40°C)
