Application

HiTEC® 4047 home heating oil additive is the result of our extensive work with OEMs and real-world performance testing. HiTEC® 4047 delivers Afton’s advanced patented detergent and anti-oxidant system designed to give supreme deposit control. The use of HiTEC® 4047 additive not only allows modern burners to maintain their high level of combustion efficiency but also improves the long term storage integrity of heating oil. HiTEC® 4047 can also be used in Off Road applications. Benefits to the customer:

 

Recommended Dosage

The recommended treat-rate of HiTEC® 4047 additive is 500 ppmv since it has been formulated for on-board additive injection. The use of HiTEC® 4047 additive allows oil companies to offer end users the choice of regular or premium heating oil quality at the point of delivery. Treat-rates may vary depending on base fuels. Please contact your Afton Chemical representative for specific recommendations.
