We will make every attempt to produce and/or load in less than our published lead times when requested.

This rapid response fee will appear as a separate line item on the invoice, along with customer approval documentation, (e.g. name & title of the customer who approved the rapid response fee).
Split Load Orders
$0.02 USD/lb ($0.05 CAD/KG)
Split load is an order for more than one bulk product on the same truck with a minimum of 2,000 gallons for each product, loaded from bulk storage tanks.
All split loads will be reviewed for heat requirements and front compartment availability.

TL Bulk (5,000 GAL) PCMO, HDMO Additives & Viscosity Index Improvers
Typically Passenger Car Motor Oil (PCMO) additives, Heavy Duty Motor Oil, (HDMO) additives, and Viscosity Index Improvers (VIIs), have only been available in 23,000 gallon railcar size quantities. Because of Afton Chemical’s investment in a "small" blend unit (5,000 gallon) we are now able to offer truck load quantities for a limited number of these additives.
These PCMO, HDMO, and VII products have a 14 day lead time. PCMO, HDMO, and VIIs must be ordered by full truck load (5,000 gallon min.).

Customer Carrier No-Show, Late Fees & Order Cancellation (New Fee)
For customer arranged freight, if customer’s carrier fails to arrive during scheduled pick-up window a $500 USD charge ($790 CAD) will be added to the original order. This fee is waived if Afton Chemical receives notification 24 hours prior to scheduled pick-up window. Late is defined as more than 30 minutes.
Afton Chemical’s customers have the option of having orders shipped Prepaid & Add which allows us to use our preferred carrier and assume the risk of no-show and late fees.
