Industrial Gear Oil Additive packages are formulated to enhance performance of lubricants for wind turbines and the industrial transmissions used in steel mills and on manufacturing sites.
At Afton Chemical, those additives consist of our Extreme Pressure (EP) lubricants and our Rust and Oxidation (R&O) gear lubricants. The EP additives are typically based on ashless sulfur/phosphorus chemistry with little or no chlorine content and are available to meet various standards and specifications including Flender, Hansen, Winergy, US Steel, AGMA, ALSE, DIN, Cincinnati Machine and others.
Gear additives containing a dispersant are also available; to help keep transmission parts clean and protect seal performance.
