Non-standard drums are supplied at a higher drum differential rate, which is based upon a minimum 50 drum order. Heavy gauge drums, epoxy or phenolic lined drums, custom coloured drums or any combination of the heavy, coloured or lined drums can be supplied with a typical premium of €15/MT higher than the standard drum differential. All drums are ST1203 steel and UN 1A1/Y1.5/100 minimum standard with standard closures.
Pallets can be supplied on request with drum orders. Drums for box container packing are secured via polyethylene wrapping or a single horizontal strap. Other palletized drums are fully wrapped or vertically strapped.
Palletised drums for box containers have a €250/MT drum differential (€14/unit)
Other palletized drums have a €255/MT drum differential (€18/unit)
Pricing is based upon standard CP3 (1140 x 1140) pallets. Non-standard pallets and packing is available at cost upon request.
Non-standard IBCs can be supplied at a higher IBC differential rate if required. Pallet type, higher capacity containers and connecting valves can be supplied to suit your operations. Certain products containing high levels of solvent require fluorinated IBCs. These come with a premium differential of €350/MT. Afton Chemical do not maintain or manage a fleet of stainless steel IBCs but can service our customers’ requirements by arrangement.

Under-Capacity Deliveries for Drum Items
Under sales conditions where delivery costs are included in the price, the freight rate is assumed to be based upon full loads unless otherwise agreed and specified. Fees are therefore applied when orders of this type are received for less than full loads of bulk and drum products. The fees are tiered and destination specific.
