The Application Solutions Center (ASC) is one of our many groups established to help bring our customer’s marketing ideas to life with credible vehicle and engine test data.

The ASC team frequently acts as a resource for our customer’s advertising and communication campaigns. In fact, ASC team members have even met with customer’s advertising and PR agencies to help strengthen their messaging by providing supplemental technical data. The ASC team has a passion for helping our customers promote precise high-performance characteristics for their engine oils.

The ASC supports our customers in all areas of engine oil, such as passenger car oils, motorcycle oils, heavy duty oils, and medium speed diesel.  The team, comprised of engineers, statisticians, fundamental research scientists, engine oil formulators, test engineers and mechanical technicians, works with engine oil customers around the globe.

The ASC team is proficient in numerous areas of tribology and metrology, and generates data utilizing combinations of real world on-road engine testing, mileage accumulation dynameters, engine testing in a laboratory setting, and standard industry bench and engine tests.
